QR & Barcode Tools

A QR code or barcode is a link printed into the physical world, so the job splits in two: encoding something into a code that scans reliably, and reading a code back into data. Generation is forgiving; scanning depends on the camera plus the code’s size and contrast.

Create codes

QR codes carry URLs, Wi-Fi credentials, contact cards and plain text. Shorter content scans from further away because a shorter payload needs fewer modules; barcodes are one-dimensional and suited to product identifiers.

Read codes

Scanning runs locally in your browser using your camera or an uploaded image — nothing is uploaded to us. Print the code large and high-contrast: a QR code under about 2cm on paper is unreliable at arm’s length.
