Author & Founder

Tanbir Ahamed

Software engineer and web developer. Founder of ToolWise. Writes every guide on this site and ships every tool.

Background

Tanbir Ahamed is a software engineer who has spent the last several years building web applications, with a focus on the JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystem (Next.js, React, Node) and on tools that do useful work without requiring users to install anything. Before starting ToolWise, he worked on production front-ends where the day-to-day frustration was the same one every developer eventually hits: needing to do something simple (format JSON, decode a Base64 string, generate a QR code, compress a screenshot) and landing on a site that demands an account, a subscription, or an email address before it will lift a finger.

ToolWise is the direct response to that frustration. It is built on the conviction that a utility tool should load in under a second, do the thing it advertised, and then get out of the way. No login wall, no download, no email capture, no tracking the user’s inputs. Where the work can be done in the browser, it is done in the browser; where it can’t (the AI text tools), the page says so plainly.

What Tanbir Writes Here

On ToolWise, Tanbir is the sole named author. That is a deliberate choice for a young site: every guide carries a real byline, and every tool is owned by a person who can be reached. This is the trust signal that the 2026 web increasingly demands of small publishers, and it is the one that large ATH and AI-content farms cannot fake.

His writing focuses on the underlying mechanics of the tools he ships — why a password estimator counts bits of entropy, how a lossless image compressor decides which pixels to keep, whatthe JSON formatter is actually doing when it re-indents your file. The goal is that after reading a ToolWise guide you understand the concept well enough to write the tool yourself, and choose to use ours only because it’s faster than re-rolling your own.

How the Tools Are Built

Tanbir builds and ships every tool on ToolWise personally. The pipeline is documented in the Editorial Policy, but the short version is: each tool is tested against fixed inputs and known edge cases (empty, very large, malformed, Unicode) before it is deployed. Tools that claim to run client-side are verified to actually run client-side — nothing leaves your browser. Tools that must call a server (the AI text tools) say so on the page.

Bug reports and feature requests go straight to him via the contact form or freetoolwise.help@gmail.com. Reader-reported bugs are treated as production bugs and are fixed before the next deploy.

Editorial Independence

ToolWise does not accept sponsored tool reviews, paid placements, or affiliate kickbacks. Nothing on this site is for sale and there is no premium tier. The site is supported by ads (served with the reader’s consent and personalization choice respected via the cookie banner). Because we do not depend on any single advertiser, trade association, or vendor, our comparisons and recommendations are our own.

A note on authorship and AI

No guide on ToolWise is generated by article-spinning software, and no page is published without a human reading it. All content is written or edited by the named founder above. Where AI writing aids are used as a first-draft tool, the named author reviews and revises the result and takes full responsibility for the published version. This is the line ToolWise draws, and it is enforced on every article.
