1. Smart Continuous Gaussian Inpainting
Our client-side engine uses Smart Continuous Gaussian Inpainting. It completely discards original pixels inside your painted mask and applies a continuous Gaussian distance falloff across clean background pixels so zero outline rings or step lines appear.
The algorithm calculates median background color statistics around the perimeter to penalize logo border lines or thin banner strips. It casts 32 rays, applies linear distance decay, and performs 5 passes of PDE Laplacian smoothing to produce seamless background gradients.
2. Mask-Composited AI Neural Engine
For complex photographs and detailed textures, the AI engine uses deep learning inpainting models. Only the masked region is reconstructed and composited with a soft alpha border, preserving 100% of your original photo resolution.
